Competitions have been really good motivation for me to produce my best work. There’s nothing like knowing your miniature is going to be scrutinised up close by seasoned professionals to make you really pull your finger out!
Although winning doesn’t seem as important to me as it once did and I haven’t been to a competition since COVID-19, I put a great deal of effort into collecting these hideous trophies, so I feel I should at least record the triumphs for posterity:
